Opening an Account
Can I have more than one trading account?
We recommend clients focus on one trading account, and we reserve the right to close subsequent accounts. However, each case will be assessed on an individual basis. If an additional trading account is permitted, it must be operated independently and it is not possible to transfer funds between the two accounts.
Do I risk any real money while using the Demo account?
No, using the demo account is completely risk-free as you can’t lose real money.
Does Plus500 offer corporate/company accounts?
No, only individual trading accounts are allowed.
How do I change my password?
In order to change your password, please go to "Menu" → "Settings" → "Security Settings" → "Change My Password" → "Edit" → enter old and new password → "Change Password".
How can I get more virtual money to trade in my Demo account?
Once the balance of your demo account drops to 200 EUR (or equivalent amount) or below, the initial demo amount will be automatically reinstated by the system.
How can I log in to the Plus500 Trading Platform?
You can access the Plus500 Platform via Web-Trader, iPhone/iPad, Android app and Windows app.

How can I open a Demo account?
You can choose to open a Demo account during your registration process by clicking on “Demo Mode” in the “Select Account Mode” window. You can also switch back from Real Money mode to Demo mode by clicking on “Switch to Demo Mode” in the main platform screen or from the app’s menu.
How to switch between the Real Money and Demo accounts?
You can choose your preferred account mode from the login screen or switch between the two accounts by clicking on “Demo Mode” or “Real Money” in the main platform screen or from the app’s menu.
What is the Demo account time limit?
There is no limit! Plus500 allows you to use the Demo account for as long as you need to get familiar with the platform and plan your trading strategy.
What is the difference between the Demo account and the Real Money account?
You trade in real market conditions, both in the Demo and in the Real Money accounts.
The only difference between the two, is that in the Demo account you do not use real money.
Plus500 does not claim to be an official academic institution that has received recognition from any country/government.
