Are my funds at risk in case of Insolvency/Bankruptcy?
All client funds are held in segregated client bank accounts, to ensure maximum protection of the funds. For more information, please read: “Client Money Protection”.
Can I deposit from a joint bank account?
Usually yes, however you may be required to provide supporting documentation to confirm that you are one of the named parties on the account. Nevertheless, in certain countries and under certain circumstances this may not be possible due to regulatory obligations.
Can I deposit using a corporate card/account?
No. All funds must originate from a payment method registered in your own name.
Can I deposit using a friend’s payment method?
No. All deposits have to originate from your own sources, and the payment method used must be registered in your name.

Details for a bank transfer
As a bank transfer is a direct bank to bank transfer of funds, this type of deposit cannot be generated through the Plus500 trading platform. In order to obtain details of the relevant bank account to which funds should be sent, please follow these instructions:
Click on "Funds" → "Deposit" → Select "Bank Transfer" → click on "Send Email" and an email will be sent to you with the relevant details.
How do I deposit money?
In order to make a deposit and begin trading with Plus500 you should follow these instructions:
Click on “Funds” → “Deposit” → Select your preferred deposit method from the available options → Fill in the fields and click the "Deposit" button (on mobile devices, you can access the “Funds” screen from the menu button). Each deposit method has its own minimum deposit level, and further information may be found in the Deposit screen on the trading platform. Is it safe to use my card online?
Our platform is protected by SSL (Secure Socket Layer). All sensitive information submitted by our customers, such as card numbers, passwords, etc. is automatically transferred by SSL to a secure environment.
Is there a limitation on the amount I can deposit?
There are several deposit limitations on your account. These limitations vary depending upon the country in which you are residing. The maximum deposit amount per transaction is outlined on the deposit page for each of the available payment methods. In certain circumstances you may encounter a limit on your Deposit for credit reasons, to meet your Margin requirements you should consider reducing the total number of your open Transactions. Why was my deposit unsuccessful?
- Completion of account verification process: in some cases, deposited funds are not included in your account balance until either the account verification process, or the payment method verification process is complete. Should this be the case, you will be notified accordingly.
