How does ESG scoring work at Plus500?

An ESG score can help traders understand a company’s sustainability and long-term resilience on Environmental, Social, and Governance factors. Traders often analyse a company’s score and ranking for performance, potential trading opportunities, possible growth, and risks.

Our ESG scoring in a nutshell:

  • ESG total score is the average of all subcategories, not including the main categories score.
  • Main category scores are the average of their relevant subcategories.
  • All our scores are scored from 1 (low) - 10 (high).
  • Industry ranking is as follows: Leader, Above Average, Average, Below Average, Laggard.

Plus500 ESG scoring is provided together with FactSet, an ESG data analytics leader. ESG ratings are provided for information purposes only and do not constitute investment recommendations. Learn more about ESG categories and scoring with us.
