How can I assess the financial status of my trading account?
Understanding the following terms will help you understand the financial status of your account:
Balance:Your balance is calculated by taking your deposits, subtracting your withdrawals, then adding any profits (or subtracting any losses) from closed positions. From that amount, we also subtract adjustments, costs, and charges.
This does not include the profit or loss from positions that are still open.
Available Balance: Your available balance is your balance, plus the profit (or minus the loss) from open positions, minus the initial margins.
This is the amount you have available on your account.
P&L:Your profit and loss (P&L) is made up of your profit or loss from open positions, plus daily overnight funding multiplied by the number of days the positions are open.
This shows the total result of all your open positions, including funding costs.
Equity: Your equity is your balance plus the profit (or minus the loss) from open positions.
This represents the current total value of your account..
Tapping on “Account Snapshot” will provide you with additional information about your account's financial status.
